A robust, full-bodied black tea blended with aromatic traditional Indian masala spices
Masala Chia, or "mixed-spice tea," is a rich spiced tea latte traditional to South Asia. We source and curate the finest teas, herbs and spices at peak season, which are chopped, crushed or ground to release their essential characters and combined in micro-batch blends to harmonize for flavor complexity.
The tea in this blend comes from an Ancient Tea Tree.
The traditional slow brewing of tea leaves and full-bodied spices results in an authentic and complex array of rich flavors and aromas.
Mix 2 tablespoons Masala Chia with 1 cup water. Bring to a boil.
Add 1 cup milk and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and steep 3 minutes.
Add 1-2 tablespoons sugar, strain and serve!
Organic and fair trade certified black tea, organic cinnamon, organic cardamom, organic ginger root, organic black pepper, organic cloves.
This is my favorite tea in the world. Fab. cold and fab. hot. Was my main reason to order tea. Ordered the others just to expand my collection. I am usually a coffee drinker. When I serve this to guest they always rave, like I mixed up something special they would not be able to make.

I've been to India four times, I got addicted there to the Masala Chai and wanted to have something of a similar taste, something that really tastes as good, when I found this product I ordered and was very happy when I tried it the first time and would surely reorder.
Love it !

tastes wonderful. a bit heavy on the ginger but otherwise the spices are well-rounded (considering it's loose leaf it might have just been that particular scoop anyway)
