I'm glad that I bought this. It helps with straightening my hair even if I don't want to blow-dry it. I have thick, curly/coily hair and like how the size allows me to brush through large sections of my hair. Also, the bristles are long and allow me to grab more hair than with smaller brushes. Follow the directions to get the best results. Your hair should be 80% dry before using this. I generally detangle my hair first and then move forward with air-drying before using this as a straightener or detangle first and blow-dry next. Quality is good and bristles don't bother my sensitive scalp.

if you use it on the highest heat it will melt but on the lower one it stays in tact. it softens a bit so it doesn't scratch your scalp. they are great blowout brushes.
