I have been using mastica for many many years, I know exactly how it tastes smells and the after effects, after taking this one a few times I felt it does not have those qualities, so I opened one capsule and to my astonishment the powder inside the capsule was not mastica, it did not have the usual mastica smell or taste or even the texture, in fact it had a sour taste. I am not used to writing negative reviews and I am an old loyal iHerb customer, I have even encouraged a lot of people to use iHerb site to purchase supplements, but this time it was a total disappointment. I hope iHerb investigates this issue and gets back to me.

I'm suffering from GERD, Acid Reflux and persistent cough because of it. Tried ACV, Betain HCL and Papaya enzymes to see whether the persistent cough will go away. So far a bit of positive result. I have terrible gastric issues, with previous Diverticular disease. This actually has helped to soothe my gastric attacks. Have taken with and without food, both are fine. Reduces stomach cramps due to spicy food (not immediately though, takes effect over a few weeks). Strongly recommend to check this out if you have gastrointestinal issues like me.
Known for ages and widely used for cooking .. we put it in rice pudding , chicken soups and sometimes coffee .. you can be creative but put in mind it gets sticky very fast .
