This is a routine buy, a personal favorite that also benefits my family. I have been using rock crystal deodorant for over 30 years. I love that it has no scent. I like that it's simple, good quality, does not stain my clothes. Crystal deodorants blocks the smell but doesn't stop perspiration. Sweating clears toxins.
A lot of people say it doesn't work, maybe it's just not used properly. I'll share what I do and you can adjust the frequency to what works for you. Always start with clean pits, straight after shower, while it's still wet, I'll do about 20 passes min. under each arm (you just need to figure how many passes works for you, there's no secret here). The crystals will act as a barrier and create an hostile environment to deter bacteria from growing, the smell only occurs when bacteria mixes with perspiration. So if you didn't apply enough it doesn't work. It's very quick and you don't really think about it after you get the hang of it. Does it work in hot and humid climate? Yes! I live in tropical Singapore. It's summer all year round. And it works really well. If I know I'm going to do some workout outdoors, I'll make another 10 passes. To be honest, I will smell a tiny bit sometimes after the workout but that's the same with any other deodorants after a workout. I have tried many regular deodorants before and this beats all of them and I'm happy to take this minus the toxic chemicals that gets absorbed into my bloodstream any day. I have not gone back to regular deodorants since I found crystal deodorants.
If you have to used it without showering, the crystal will start to absorb your body odor, to reset this, hold the crystal at an angle from the tap, rub the surface of the crystal with the palm of your hand and rinse under clean water till there's no more smell. Do Not run the entire crystal under water, some brands will form pockets of holes and disintegrate or fall apart and scratch your skin.
The only down side is I can't get them off the shelf in my country, so I'm happy to find them on iHerb.
