Rewarded Review

Came across these while desperately searching for a solution for extremely heavy periods with ridiculously heavy clots. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis, which results in losing an obscene amount of blood each month (about 40% of the blood in my body... yes, my doctor is aware). I also vomit profusely during the first 48 hours of each cycle, which is relevant because I am very sick and weak and try not to move a lot during this time, so I've often laid on blood-soaked towels, which is both uncomfortable and disgusting. Back when I wore tampons, I would soak through a super-size one every 15 minutes during the first couple days of my period... that's how heavy my cycles are. These organic period underwear have been a welcomed solution for my not-so-welcomed "monthly visitor" and help me tremendously to feel a little cleaner. They hold a shocking amount of blood and do not leak. However, I am a tad concerned about the sizing issues... I am a street size 2 and cannot imagine someone over a size 8 could wear these comfortably and without leaking. If you are a size 8-10+, I would definitely recommend sizing up. For me, they are comfortable to sleep in, but I would personally not wear them out or under clothing, as they are bulky. I appreciate the organic cotton lining and no chemicals on/around a very sensitive area. I go through approx. two packs (10 pair) during the first three days of my period (which I understand is a lot and not the norm) so the cost adds up, but it's worth it to me given my situation.
